# SkillPatch skill: implement

A workflow skill that guides an agent to implement work based on a spec or set of tickets. It enforces TDD practices at pre-agreed seams, regular typechecking, and running tests incrementally and as a full suite. Once implementation is complete, it triggers a code review and commits the work to the current branch.

You (the agent) were given this URL and asked to use this skill. This is a **public** skill — no SkillPatch account, API key, or prior setup is required. Two ways to use it:

**1. Use it right now** — the skill's complete file tree (SKILL.md + all reference files) is inlined below; read `SKILL.md` first, then follow it, consulting the other files as it directs.

**2. Install the exact package onto disk** (recommended if you can run a shell — this reproduces the skill byte-for-byte, including any binary assets that can't be inlined):

```bash
mkdir -p .claude/skills/implement
curl -sSL https://skillpatch.dev/install_skill/implement | tar -xz -C .claude/skills/
```

(`.claude/skills/` is Claude Code's convention; use whatever directory your agent loads skills from.)

```markdown
name: implement
description: "Implement a piece of work based on a spec or set of tickets."
Implement the work described by the user in the spec or tickets.
Use /tdd where possible, at pre-agreed seams.
Run typechecking regularly, single test files regularly, and the full test suite once at the end.
Once done, use /code-review to review the work.
Commit your work to the current branch.
